Using reports as import feeds

Reports can be looped back into the system as import feeds. This way you can use calculated data in your pricing strategy.

When executing advanced dynamic pricing strategies, it is sometimes required to use a report as an import feed (if your internal systems cannot export certain data points, for example). We can then create these in Omnia and re-use them as import fields.

This is relatively easy to setup:

• Ensure the report includes OmniUniqueID
• Navigate to the report preview to find the URL of the report
• Add a new feed
• Link the feed, using ID and OmniUniqueID
• Create custom fields for imported data

The data is now ready to be imported into Omnia and can be used in your pricing actions (by using the "Cap recommended price point to connect field"-action) or reports.
