Calculated fields versus imported fields

In reports, you can add calculated fields and imported fields. This article explains the difference.

When adding a field to Omnia, you can either select a static value, an imported value, or a calculated value. Clicking on the formula bar shows a dropdown of all fields options.

Calculated fields

All fields with the database logo in front of it are calculated fields. This means that Omnia's Dynamic Pricing engine calculated the field (up to four times per day).

This table shows all calculated fields and how they are calculated:

Field name Calculation
Average Price Competitor(s) Average price across the entire market
Marketing Bonus %

Shows any marketing bonusses given by suppliers that are taken into account in Net Purchase Price (if configured under supplier conditions)

Minimum Price Competitor(s) Minimum price out of all pricepoints that were found (incl. shipping costs)

Difference between the imported fields 'Units Sold yesterday'  and 'Units Sold 7 days ago'

Units Sold yesterday: this field refers to the number of units sold yesterday
Units Sold 7 days ago: this field refers to the number of units on a specific day 7 days ago

E.g.: Today is the 28th of January
Units Sold yesterday: # of units sold on the 27th of January
Units Sold 7 days ago: # of units sold on the 21st of January
